Cyanotypes

The Cyanotype process is a very early type of photography. Negatives are placed over a treated sheet of watercolour paper and left in the sun to develop. The chemicals react with the sunlight to create beautiful deep blues. Prints are then hand washed and dried.

Each cyanotype print is unique as each exposure will have its own imperfections and subtle difference in colour depending on many variables like exposure time and time of day exposed. All materials used are archival quality and will last a lifetime.
